1. Introduction This Refund and Cancellation Policy outlines the terms and conditions under which customers can request refunds and cancel their managed Linux hosting services with Townsend Consulting Services ("TCS").
2. Refunds
- Refunds are available for unused prepaid hosting services.
- If a customer has prepaid for hosting services and chooses to cancel before the end of the prepaid period, they are eligible for a refund for the unused portion.
- Hosting costs for partial months cannot be refunded. For example, if a customer cancels their service halfway through a prepaid month, they will not receive a refund for the remaining half of that month.
3. Cancellation
- Customers can cancel their hosting services with TCS at any time.
- Upon cancellation, TCS will provide customers with a full backup of all stored data and databases.
- Proprietary data or code owned by Townsend Consulting will be excluded from the backup and will not be provided to the customer.
4. Cancellation Process
- To initiate a cancellation, customers should contact TCS through the support portal.
- Once the cancellation request is received, TCS will begin the process of creating the customer's data backup.
- The backup will be provided to the customer in a secure and accessible format.
5. Refund Process
- Customers eligible for a refund should indicate their request when initiating the cancellation.
- Refunds will be processed using the original payment method within 14 business days of the cancellation request.
6. Changes to this Policy
- TCS reserves the right to update this Refund and Cancellation Policy from time to time.
- Customers will be notified of any significant changes to the policy.
